La Filharmònica Porrerenca dedicates this concert to Josep Roig and all the members. The former mayor of Porreres, Josep Roig i Salleras, who died in June 2001, was a great mentor to the music band, being its honorary president.
Since 2002, the Porrerenca Philharmonic has paid tribute to him with this concert.
