This prestigious Mallorcan coral offers the last concert of the 2012 season with a repertoire in honor of the celebration of el canto de la Sibila (the chant of the Sibyl). Founded in 1966 by Bernat Julia, it consists of a lineup of between 60 and 100 members and has a repertoire of over 800 works. Since 1999 its director is José María Moreno.
In recent years the Capella Mallorquina has performed in the major capitals of the world with great success with audiences and critics, as published in the New York Times which described it as "a vocal group to match the best in Europe".
