The Menorcan pianist Ramon Coll retires from the music scene with this concert at the Teatre Principal in Palma de Mallorca, where he began his career over five decades ago.
Ramon Coll (Mahon, 1941) is one of the great Balearic pianists of the twentieth century. With only 15 years old he already collaborated with the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands, in a concert conducted by maestro Ekitay Ahn. Since then he has given many concerts and recitals in Spain, France, Poland, South America, Central America, United States and Canada.
His discography exceeds a dozen, with albums dedicated to works by Brahms, Ravel, Debussy and Rachmaninoff, among others. In this farewell concert he will interpret works by Chopin and Brahms.
