Cultural Association Sa Taronja celebrates the centenary of the birth of Benjamin Britten (1913-1976), composer, conductor and pianist. A concert for three sopranos and harp involving Cristina Van Roy and Fiona Stuart-Wilson (sopranos), Waltraud Bucher (mezzo-soprano) and Tamara Heideveld (harp).
The first part covers six centuries of Christmas compositions with works by Mendelssohn, Hugo Wolf, Britten, Cornelius, Gruber and medieval writers.
In the second they interpret A Ceremony of Carols, composed by Benjamin Britten in 1942.
