Concert by baritone Joan Pons

In the series of concerts Serenates a l'Auba (Serenades at dusk ), baritone Joan Pons Menorca offers a concert accompanied on piano by Joana Pons. The presentation of the musical event is carried out by the writer and journalist Guillem Frontera.

Before or after the performance, one can enjoy an exhibition of works by painter Riera Ferrari in whose estate of Manacor take place most of the concerts of this cycle. Organized by a cultural nonprofit association named after the artist, the collection of the concerts will benefit Aproscom entities, Estel Llevant and Tip-Tap.

Joan Pons (Ciutadella, 1946) has performed in the most important opera companies in the world like the Bastille in Paris, Covent Garden in London and the Teatro Real in Madrid. He was recently awarded the Gold Medal of the Gran Teatre Liceu in Barcelona.
