Concert at sunset

A proposal by the Third International Music Festival 'Vila de Santanyí' for the Saturdays in August. The fourth event will be featuring la Capilla Antigua de Chinchilla, founded in 2002 by tenor José Ferrero, current director.

This formation has recorded numerous CD’s dedicated to medieval music of Alfonso X, Gines de Boluda, Rogier, Victoria, Morales, Guerrero, medieval pilgrims music, Sephardic romances and songs, etc. Their important labor in research and dissemination of ancient and baroque music has led them to perform in many festivals dedicated to this type of music. It consists of Juan Francisco Sanz (vocals and percussion), José Ferrero (vocals and harp), Luisa Maesso (drum percussion and strings), Alfonso Saez (flutes, gemshorn and xirimia) and Sergio Alonso (Rabec and viola).
