'Como hace 3000 años'

The 21è Festival de Poesia de la Mediterrània begins with this original proposal by the Argentinean actor Héctor Alteiro and the musician José Luis Merlín at the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza in Palma.

Como hace 3000 años (As 3,000 years ago), is the culmination of Alterio's personal desire to interpret a selection of poems (mainly by León Felipe) with which he fully identifies himself. An original recital where the author does not declaim the poems in a classical way, but interprets them

The repertoire of the show represents the perfect harmony between the poems of León Felipe, Antonio Esteban Agüero and Pablo Neruda and the original compositions of Joaquín Turina, Ástor Piazzolla, Joaquín Rodrigo, Francisco Tárrega and José Luis Merlín himself, who accompanies him with the guitar.
