Agustí Villaronga directs and adapts to the theater The House of Names, novel by Irish writer Colm Töibin (Enniscorthy, 1955) published in 2017. In it, the author takes up the only preserved work of the ancient Greek theater and revises it focusing on the history of Clitemnestra.
Western tradition has shown us a Clitemnestra as the representation of evil: unfaithful, cruel, murderous, trickster and bad mother. Tóibín brings a new sensibility so that this pain that Clitemnestra transmits to us is closer and more forgiving.
Clitemnestra, la casa dels noms is played by Núria Prims, Josuè Guasch, Marc Bonnín, Sara Sánchez, Marina Font and Aitor Gabaldà.
