The second appointment of the 41st edition of the Valldemossa Chopin Festival is with the prestigious Peruvian pianist, bandoneonist and composer Claudio Constantini, performing works by Robert Schumann and Frédéric Chopin.
He began his piano studies at the National Conservatory of Peru under the tutelage of his father, the pianist Gerardo Constantini. Later he continued with his training in Finland, Holland and Paris. His original style is defined by his solid classical arrangements, along with an incessant passion for some popular musical genres such as Latin American music or improvisation.
So far he has made six record productions, among them América (2018), nominated for the Latin Grammy 2019 as best classical music album, and the album 20th Century Tango (2020), distinguished with the silver medal of the Global Music Awards. .

The Chopin Festival is organized by the Associació Festivals Chopin de Valldemossa. It is directed by pianist Miquel Estelrich and, in this edition, it will program four concerts on Sundays from August 8 to 29, which are held in la Cartuja de Valldemossa.
