Catalan company Manel Roses presents Ákri, a circus solo featuring an acrobat and a ladder that explores the concept of threshold. The ladder, both a circus apparatus and a stage set, represents a zone between two spaces in time, symbolizing a profession and a way of life.
The uniqueness of the project lies in its blend of disciplines: theater, object manipulation, acrobatic movement, and clowning. Always in search of irony and simplicity. Manel Rosés is an acrobat and co-founder of the Soon Circus Company and has worked with companies such as Circo EIA, Cirque du Soleil, and Escarlata Circus.
