The Colegio de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de Mallorca, together with Fundación Aedificat, organize a film series on construction debate, presented by Magdalena Brotons, Professor of Art History (UIB).
Three films that show three societies, their cities and how the life of their characters takes place in them. After the projections a debate will open that will end with a snack for the attendees.

Mon Oncle (1958). Comedy directed by Jacques Tati. Reflective criticism, full of irony, of the supposed advantages of architecture derived from the modern movement, which replaced tradition with materials such as concrete and stainless steel.

En Construcción (2001). José Luis Guerín documentary. The history of the transformation of the old city of Barcelona, ??of the changes of use, of its inhabitants and of those who work in it, of the neighborhood seen as a living being that surprises in its transformation.

Documentary directed by Juan Carlos Rulfo that shows the harsh reality of the workers of large urban works, and in this case, of the construction of the second level of the peripheral ring of the south of Mexico City, a huge bridge that was popularly called El segundo Piso (The Second Floor).
