Christmas Market of Algaida

It lasts only one day, but concentrates so many activities that make it a festive day and the start of Christmas in Campos. At Five in the Afternoon the Nativity Rael Trobat will be opened to the public in the church, and an hour later, the turning on of the lights to the sound of the Vocal Set of the Escola de Música Municipal (Municipal School of Music). With this, Christmas is inaugurated and the village sets out to enjoy these endearing festivities that illuminate its streets.

The Plaça d'Algaida is the center of all the attention on this special day. Here will be mounted the Christmas Market, where all kinds of delicacies, handicrafts and traditional products of Algaida, Pina, Randa and other villages of the island are displayed and offered for sale. Thousands of possibilities of finding the perfect gift for Christmas.

Among the activities stands out the Workshop Nadal where children will make cards that will be hanged in the 'tree of good wishes' which later will be exposed at the City Hall. The music will accompany the holiday spirit with the concert by the Music Band with the special collaboration of the choir Castellitx, taking place in the church, and the performance of Donallop presenting his new album #Milestones.
