The American composer and drummer Jimmy Weinstein (Chicago, 1960) annually participates in Mallorca Jazz Sa Pobla with the Traveling School. Now go to Mallorca with saxophonist Chris Cheek to offer two concerts in Sa Pobla and Calvià.
Weinstein is a cult musician in the New York scene who likes to describe himself as a drummer songwriter. For his part, Chris Cheek is an American jazz saxophonist who has worked as a session musician on over sixty albums throughout his career and has recorded as a leader four critically acclaimed albums.
They will perform accompanied by Marko Lohikari (bass), Lilli Santon (voice) and Toni Miranda (guitar).
