This musical set in Chicago in the 1920s is based on the 1924 work of author Maurine Dallas Watkins, with libretto by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse and music by John Kander and Ebb himself.
The adaptation that is now presented in a special concert on the occasion of the festival of Santa Cecilia is a production of the Fundació Escola de Música d'Alcúdia with the collaboration of the company Un montón de artistas. The musical direction is of Jaume Garci'a Serra, conducting the Municipal Band of Music of Alcúdia.
