Chee-Yun Kim spielt einen Stradivari Ex-Strauss im Jahr 1708 in Cremona gebaut, zur Verfügung gestellt von Samsung Stiftung Kultur Korea und die Stradivari Society of Chicago.
Das Programm besteht aus Suite Española, von Manuel de Falla; Primavera Porteña, von Astor Piazzolla; Introduktion und Rondo Capriccioso, Saint-Saëns; und Sonata, Cesar Franck.
Deià International Music Festival, with artistic direction by Alfredo Oyágüez Montero (Madrid, 1967), is celebrated from May 4 to October 5 with concerts in la Sala de Música de la Casa Museu de Son Marroig, one of the Old properties of the Archduke Luis Salvador in the Serra de Tramuntana. From its terraces you can see a spectacular sunset over the sea.
