Charles Lloyd: 'Arrows Into Infinity'

In the 1960s, Charles Lloyd was one of the most influential jazz musicians. His music crossed traditional borders and explored new territories.

Catapulted to world fame, at the age of 30 he gave up his touring and recording life and retired to his home in Big Sur California) and practically disappeared from the jazz scene. Circumstances returned him to public life at the end of the 1980s and he is still active at 83, as we will have the opportunity to enjoy him in the concert that he will offer on November 28 at Son Amar.

Arrows Into Infinity is a sonic journey through the unusual life and career of this jazz legend, which is now screened in the Music and Film Series of the 14th Jazz Voyeur Festival. The film is a collaborative work between Lloyd's wife, Dorothy Darr, and painter, videographer, and filmmaker, Jeffery Morse.
