After the good reception by the public and critics of Els veïns de dalt (Los vecinos de arriba, in its Spanish version), 53 diumenges is the second theatrical incursion of the film director and screenwriter Cesc Gay (Barcelona, 1967), considered one of the sharpest chroniclers of the urban middle classes.

In 53 diumenges it will have the participation of the actors Pere Arquillué, Cristina Plazas, Lluís Villanueva and Àgata Roca. With scenography by Alejandro Andújar, costumes by Anna Güell and lighting by Carlos Lucena.
