Saint Anna, is the Patron Saint of Moscari, in the municipality of Petra. The celebration begins the Sunday closest to her festivity with the Bachelor Festival (Festa del Fadrí). Unmarried girls pick a boy of the village which they name bachelor, who leads the procession by the streets adorned with murta (shrub of the family of the mirtáceas) and plants in the door of the houses.
The procession is also formed by unmarried women and children dressed as peasants that carry canes lined with flowers. It finishes in the church, where there is an offering of branches to Santa Anna.
