Fernando Marina conducts this concert designed especially for a family audience. It features Pianists Andreu Riera and Noemi Dalmau, plus Marisa Pol (who carries out the reading of the texts) and the Orquestra Acadèmia 1830. The stage direction is provided by Disset Teatre.
The program includes the Overture on Hebrew themes Op 34, by Sergei Prokofiev, La plus que lente, by Claude Debussy, and The Carnival of the Animals, of Saint-Saëns.
The French composer created this work in February 1886, in full celebration of Carnival, and in it appear, among other animals, lions, chickens, donkeys and turtles, in a humorous tone.
