Since she began her career about 26 years ago, anxiety has led Carmen Jaime on her way to experiment with her voice through musical styles as varied as suggestive: rock, blues, jazz, funk, gospel....
Now, Carmen Jaime makes a personal search of her own roots, looks inside and enters fully to experiment with traditional Mallorcan music, watering it with her powerful and emotional voice and contributing her vision made of nostalgia and avant-garde.
This is D’ones que canten, a show that evolves and that puts the focus on the feminine and anonymous voices of Mallorca. A theatrical show where she introduces us to the mystery of Cant de la Sibil • la and the telluric force of the ximbombades.
Carmen Jaime (voice, dj and ximbomba), Gori Matas (keyboard Hammond), Pau Belenguer (percussion), Enric Gayà (guitar) and Hernan Livolsi (didgeridoo).
