Turn for dance in the XXXI Season of Opera and Ballet of the Teatre Principal de Palma with this production of the National Company of Dance of the Suite of Carmen by George Bizet, adapted by Rodion Shchedrin for string orchestra and 47 instruments of percussion.
Directed and choreographed by Johan Inger, who relies more on Marimée than on Bizet and digs into the psychology of the characters to understand its passion. Conducted by Manuel Coves, with the participation of the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears.
