Santanyí recovers this tradition celebrated on Easter Day and which has as protagonists the salers. These groups of young people, accompanied by their instruments would go out in the morning to improvise lyrics on simple melodies and tour through the villages of Mallorca in search of panades and robiols, two typical savory pastries of the Easter gastronomy in Mallorca.
The event begins in front of the rectory, where the salers will do their first singing. They will then carry out the capture of the Panada (collection of pie) along the village houses. The food collected will be delivered to the Sisters of the Poor for distribution among the neediest.
