Canvas Project

Canvas Project is the musical proposal of Pedro Dávila, who during this last year has found the possibility of musically materializing his influences and thoughts in a repertoire of his own creation. With this proposal begins the 26è Mallorca Jazz Sa Pobla, an open-air concert in the Parc de Can Cirera Prim.

The songs of Canvas Project try to reflect the impact that situations (real and imaginary), images and very intimate inquiry processes have had on the author. The vehicle of expression is improvised music, not wanting to be pigeonholed in the jazz-non-jazz dichotomy.

Along with Pedro Dávila (guitars), Jimmy Weinstein (drums), Marko Lohikari (double bass), Xema Borràs (trombone) and Josep Sastre (alto sax and transverse flute) intervene.

Half of the proceeds from the tickets will go to the Associació Pa i Mel to help with the purchase of food. Tickets can only be purchased online.
