This vocal formation was created in Palma two decades ago and today is considered one of the best in Europe. They have a very unique repertoire as they version a capella their favorite themes of pop-rock and even famous movie soundtracks.
Cap Pela initially consisted of twelve members, but now has been reduced to seven: Esther Barceló (soprano), Sofia Domènech (soprano), Begoña de la Iglesia (contralto), Guillem Ramon (tenor), Santiago Francia (tenor) and Joaquim Domènech (bass).
They offer a repertoire of traditional and universal carols sung a cappella: Fum, Fum, Fum, White Christmas, Noninó, Happy Christmas...
