'Cançons de Creació'

The new edition of the Cançons de la Mediterrània festival, organized by Palma City Council, begins with this sample concert from the Cançons de Creació residence in Ses Voltes.

It is a tasting of the work in progress of the work developed by the six musicians selected to participate in the creative residency of the Fundació ACA in Búger directed by Cassandre Balosso Bardin.

This creative residency aims to encourage new musical approaches based on traditional music in dialogue with other styles, such as electronic music, pop, jazz, etc.

The six musicians selected for the residency come from different areas of the Balearic Islands music scene and are: Diego Iribe, Maria Adrover, Benjamí Salom, Sebastià Mut, Elisabet Miquel and Laia Ferrer.
