The Museu de la Mar del Port de Sóller will once more be the setting for music in summer with this concert by Waltraud Mücher (vocals) and Guillermo Gemenias (vihuela). This stringed instrument, like a guitar, was very popular in Spain and Portugal, and to a lesser extent in Italy, during the sixteenth century.
They offer a repertoire with works by Pisador, Mudarra, Fuenllana, Daza, Narvaez and Milan, among others.
It includes a glass of champagne at intermission.
