Canamunt i Canavall 2017

These feasts recall the historical and bloody events in the seventeenth century between two nobiliary parties of Palma, the Canamunt and the Canavall, in the battle of the water.

Program:

Friday, September 1
6:30 p.m. Plaça de Cort
Display of blazons. The  sus of the fiesta
The sus will be given by Joana Daviu (seventeenth century), who participated in the battles disguised as a man and was hung as murderess and bandolera

8:30 p.m. Carrer Costa i Llobera (part peatonal)
Cena de Colles
Presentation of the Lords of Canamunt i Canavall. Take your food and share it. Wear something yellow or red.

Sunday 3 September
16:00 h. Battle of Canamunt i Canavall.
The canamunt collas are situated in the plaça de Sant Jeroni

Monday, September 4
8:00 p.m. Burial of Berga
Meeting: Carrer de Sant Pere Nolasc, 11-13, original place where Judge Berga was assassinated
