Regine Lettner directs this documentary about the life of Mallorcan fashion designer Miquel Adrover, a reference for the avant-garde in the United States and Europe. Self-taught designer - he left school at age 11 to work on the family farm in Calonge - he left in the early 90s to New York where he worked as janitor and floor-cleaner until, in a triple jump to fame, he became one of the top designers of the Big Apple.
His fall was also sharp. On September 9, 2001 he presented his Utopia collection in NY, inspired by the Arab world. Two days later the 11 S attacks occurred and one month later the Adrover company declared bankruptcy due to the abandonment of its investors.
