Some texts by Maria Bellver are the seeds of La Gran Vida Real, the debut album of this pop rock group from the south of Mallorca. Calàpot is led by singer and guitarist Agustí Mestre, and also has Jaume Amengual (piano and keyboards), Rafel Mulet (bass guitar) and Antoni Canyelles (drums and percussion) among its members.
La Gran Vida Real (The Great Real Life) (Blau Discmedi, 2017) is the first work of the quartet of Santanyí. Simple, intense and warm songs that come from the intimate and personal voice of Agustí Mestre dropping desires, memories, contradictions or reflections, with close-ups of the human being that are intertwined with natural elements such as the sea, night or heaven.
