In 2012, the brothers Quijano began the trilogy Origines El Bolero, which closes the Vol. 3 presented in December 2014 and with which are now touring making a stop in the Trui Teatre de Palma. A work that has earned them a Gold and Platinum Record with the first volume being nominated at the Latin Grammy awards with Vol. 2, launched in 2013.
With Origines El Bolero the band returns to its roots and the music they heard in their childhood influenced by their parents. The three brothers (Manuel, Óscar and Raúl) started playing live at the pub La Lola, which they ran with their father, also a musician, in the city of León.
In 1998 they recorded their first album with Warner, entitled Café Quijano, and since then they have released eight albums in a career riddled with prizes.
