Burball 2022: 'Enemigo del pueblo'

An Enemy of the People is one of the plays by the great Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen. Maribel Alcázar and Cristina Francioli now adapt it in this show directed by the latter. A Des-stable Teatre production that is part of the XVIII Mostra de Teatre Aficionat a Palma Burball 2022.

An Enemy of the People (1882) is one of the most controversial works by the man considered the 'father of realism'. Its protagonist, Dr. Stockmann (in this adaptation a doctor) denounces that the spa water, the town's main source of income, is corrupted and a health hazard.
