This Dutch band is considered one of the most energetic and original of the current European jazz scene. They play an eclectic jazz, with winks to styles like rock, boogaloo, funk, rhythm'n'blues or swing.
They debuted in 2012 with an album of the same title and in 2017 they released their latest album, Superjazz.
Bruut! consists of Maarten Hogenhuis (sax), Folkert Oosterbeek (Hammond), Thomas Rolff (bass) and Felix Schlarmann (drums). The concert is part of the cycle Sons de Nit Música i Patrimoni.
