The CCA Andratx brings together, for the first time in Spain, the work of the German artists Susanne Rottenbacher and Claus Rottenbacher in an exhibition that is presented as a theatrical stage where border issues come to meet the spectator.
Border Matters comprises two individual projects: on the one hand, the photographic series made in 2016 Non Plus Ultra by Claus Rottenbacher, which explores the transcendence of Gibraltar as the testimony in stone of a brutalist frontier between Great Britain and the Kingdom of Spain; For her part, Susanne Rottenbacher has used her professional career as a set designer to prepare the scene with a light installation of 10 x 10 x 4 meters.
