On the occasion of World Book Day, the City Council of Vilafranca celebrates this week around the book and promotion of reading activities until 28 April. Today, on World Book Day, a read-aloud is scheduled where participants can read a fragment of their favorite book in the plaza Major starting at ten o'clock.
Among the activities for the next few days stand out Sofa Reader (days 24, 25 and 27); the Gastro readings, an initiative that combines the covers with reading fragments of works inspired by the world of gastronomy (Thursday 24); Rock'N'Book II, with exhibition of books and library materials related to music and musical performances (Saturday 26) and a Book Market and Solidarity Market (Sunday 27).
