Bloc Party is an indie rock, post-punk revival group from London, created in 1998. It consists of Kele Okerele (vocals and guitar), Russell Lissack (guitar), Gordon Moakes (bass and vocals) and Matt Tong (drums). They began to emerge in the music scene when vocalist Kele sent a demo to the Scottish group Franz Ferdinand, who invited them to play at a party of its record company.
With three albums on the market, the band is one of the most influential of alternative rock today. They have written songs very much applauded by the audience like Helicopter, Flux, Pioneers or Banquet.
With this performance, the festival Mallorca Rocks continues its season of concerts, held every Tuesday from June to September, and a second weekly appointment with electronic music on Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
