Acclaimed Russian pianist and pedagogue Boris Berman, now residing in the United States, arrives at the Deià festival with a very interesting musical project, Black and White Series: 100 years later. The program consists of works composed by different authors around 1912, exactly a century ago. Includes Preludes (Second Book) by Claude Debussy, Sonata 7 and Sonata 9 from Alexander Scriabin, and Sarcasms by Serguéi Prokofiev.
