Bertoldino is a play by Mossen Clar i Vila (1865-1932) based on a 17th-century tale by Julio César Croce, one of the greatest exponents of Italian carnival literature.
The playwright Jeroni Obrador adapts this work to current times, with a text for all audiences and in a family format, and proposes a twist on the 20th-century Mallorcan comedy genre.
The staging includes the world of comics through projections, with illustrations by Llorenç Garrit, shadow theater and masks for the interpretation of some characters.
Bertoldino is produced by Tshock Cultura Emocional with the support of the Department of Culture of the Santanyí City Council. It is interpreted by Guiem Juaneda, Magdalena Sbert and Cristina Francioli.
