This dance and percussion show is a creation of Niña de Fuego, a duo formed by dancer and choreographer Ingrid Medina from de Canary Islands and percussionist and photographer Curro Viera (Oliva Trencada, L'équilibriste, Motöcultor, among other groups.). They met in Mallorca in 2013 and decided to share their artistic experiences in a project that combines different disciplines in a common language.
Beat is a journey through life, emotions and passions in a show that explores different spaces and scenic possibilities. It is a changing work that adapts to where it is presented and invites the spectator to enter into it. After passing through Can Monroig in Inca and Es Baluard within the DansaNovembre festival, it now comes to the House of Culture in Can Gelabert.
