First solo exhibition of Antonio Fernández from Huesca in Mallorca, the artist presents recent drawings with other unpublished ones, in which he works on the construction and representation of masculinity.
The behaviors that govern what is accepted as male in society are stereotyped. Honor, courage, strength, skill or power, are some of the values that are assumed man should have. And this exhibition aims to present the role of these clichés in the construction of male identity.
The project is expressed through experimentation with drawing, some done with watercolor and others on thread embroidered by hand on paper.
