María Muñoz, National Dance Award 2009, invites Pep Ramis to dance a fragment of his show Bach, adapted to the Plaça de la Colònia de Sant Pere and with which the VII Setmana de Música Antiga ends.
The piece is an approximation to The well-tempered harpsichord of Johann Sebastian Bach, where the dance of some preludes that sound live is combined with the memory of a flight danced in silence.
Since its premiere in 2004, this research work on movement and stage presence has been represented on stages in Europe, the United States, South America and the Middle East.
Bach is a production of the Catalan dance company Mal Pelo with the collaboration of the Teatro Real (Madrid) and the Teatre Lliure (Barcelona).
