The new edition of the Cool Days Festival kicks off with this monologue by Alberto San Juan in which he speaks of his life from his birth in 1968 until today. Or so it seems, because in reality Autorretrato de un joven capitalista español (Self-portrait of a young Spanish capitalist) it is a history lesson that exposes the lies they have told us from the past seven years of Franco until the present.
Alberto San Juan himself is the author of this bold text - as well as director and performer - that raises us to what extent we are willing to risk what we have for the sake of a more just society.
