Based in London, Aurora Orchestra combines its concerts worldwide with ambitious programming and a pioneering presentation.
Founded in 2005 under the direction of titular director Nicholas Collon, it has quickly gained a reputation as one of the leading chamber orchestras in Europe, earning important awards such as its two RPS awards and an ECHO Klassik award from Germany.
It attends the 57th Pollença Festival with Imogen Cooper on piano and a program formed by ballet music. Idomeneo KV 367, by W.A. Mozart (1756-1791), Concerto for piano and orchestra No. 25, KV. 503, by W.A. Mozart, and Symphony no. 5 in C minor, op. 67, by L.v. Beethoven (1770-1827).
