Asier Polo (cello) and Alfredo Oyagüez Montero (piano) offer a program consisting of: Intermezzo (E. Granados), Suite for solo cello (G. Cassado), popular Spanish Suite (Manuel de Falla) and Sonata in D minor Op 40 (D. Shostakovich).
In addition to being performers, they both develop also a facet as a teacher. Asier Polo is a visiting professor of Basque Musikene; Alfredo Oyagüez is tenured professor at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands.
The concert is part of the cycle Concerts of Teachers at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands 2013, organized by the teachers themselves in collaboration with the Conservatory, Alma Concerts and the International Music Festival Deia.
