Art Sound Quartet

This quartet was formed within the International Hall of Saxophone at the Conservatory of the Balearic Islands, which was attended by the components that came from different points of the Spanish geography. Incorporated in Art Sound Quartet are saxophonists Adrian Pais, Oscar Solis, Pedro Pablo Chamber and Ivan Basin.

They investigate in the area of electroacoustic and spectacles, where they combine other disciplines such as dance, theater or painting. They also experiment with mixed chamber music, using instruments such as percussion, organ or accordion.

In recent years the formation has been awarded in several national and international competitions and in 2012 they have released their first album, Capriccio, with works by Debussy, Florio, Mendhelsson and Reinhart.

In this concert, which ends the program Nocturns al Pati 2012 (Night on the Patio), they perform works by Albéniz and Debussy, among other composers.
