For thirty years, Mark Landis has deceived those responsible for museums in the United States with all kinds of imitations from art of the fifteenth century to Picasso pieces. One of the deceived is Matthew Leninger, head of the Register of the Museum of Cincinnati, obsessed with chasing and catching him. What begins as a game of cat and mouse becomes much more complicated.
