'Arn the Knight Templar'

This Swedish film of 2007 directed by Peter Flinth is projected within the cinema cycle The Templars: history and mystery  that organizes the Bellver Castle. It tells the story of Arn Magnusson, a literary character created by Swedish author Jan Guillou.

Arn was born in 1150 in Gothia, west of Sweden, and when he grows up he becomes an educated young man and good swordsman. He encounters the love of his life, Cecilia, but the cruel world in which they live forces them to separate. Cecilia enters a convent; while Arn enters the order of the Knights Templar and departs for the Holy Land.

The Arn the Knight Templar  presentation will be given by Luis Tudela. It is projected in English version subtitled in Castilian.
