This concert tribute to the Italian composer Armando Trobajoli was recorded on April 28, 2007 at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome, performed by the orchestra and the choir of the Acadèmia de Santa Cecília under the direction of Franco Petracchi. Accompanied by violinist Massimo Quarta, and the honoree himself on the piano.

He accompanied great jazz performers such as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Chet Baker and Stéphane Grappelli. He debuted in the film composition in 1952 with the police drama Li tratte delle bianche, directed by Luigi Comencino.
It is projected within the Cinema documentary and music series, carried out by the City Council of Palma and la Associació Balear d’Amics de les Bandes Sonores. Presents: Joan Arbona. Duration: 30 minutes.
