It is the latest musical project of Malikian Ara, Lebanese violinist scenarios who has conquered the stages of half the world with his virtuosity and expressiveness. In La Orquesta en el Tejado he shares the musical direction with Humberto Armas and, as usual this charismatic performer, aims to bring classical music to all audiences.
This chamber orchestra is made up of young musicians and their repertoire ranges from the classics to the adaptions for orchestra of well known themes by contemporary artists such as Björk, Led Zeppelin, Kurt Weill, etc.
Ara Malikian & La Orquesta en el Tejado act within The Concerts Solidarity of the Obra Social de Sa Nostra, and is held for the benefit of Creu Roja Illes Balears.
