A musical project by Armenian violinist Ara Malikian and Catalan guitarist José Luis Montón result of the desire to seek common ground between flamenco and jazz and the years of friendship of both artists.
Ara Malikian has masterfully assimilated music from all cultures and has a very wide repertoire, comprising practically all works for the instrument that dominates. He is currently concertmaster of the Symphony Orchestra of the Teatro Real Madrid.
Montón is a famed guitarist and composer of flamenco music. He has performed with dance companies of Antonio Canales and Carmen Cortés. As a soloist he has collaborated with other soloists experimenting with all kinds of musical genres.
