For most of history, 'Anonymous' was a woman, said Virginia Woolf in her book A Room of One’s Own. In this concert-show, the Coral Universitat de les Illes Balears, directed by Núria Cunillera Salas, accompanied on the piano by Jesús López Blanco and with the actress Catalina Inès Florit Llinàs as narrator, will present music by women composers who did manage to make a name for themselves.
The repertoire will range from medieval times to the present day. Presented in an original and vibrant way, we will learn who these women were and what moved them to challenge the stereotypes of their time.
